I set up Funtastic Futures in 2017. I teach at Oak Grove College and have worked in special education for 24 years.
I love signing and encouraging communication in lots of forms from verbal, sign language, PEC's, talking mats to Symbolised time tables and now and next boards. I am passionate about keeping our Funtastic Futures outstanding making sure it is student centred I love the living skills days and getting out and about on Community days all having fun with the groovy gang.

I have worked at Funtastics for 3 yrs. I love it. It feels like my second family. We work hard to ensure the students get a great variety of activities that stretch and keep them stimulated and happy. I have worked in special education for many years starting at Highdown then 12 years at Oak Grove College as a teaching assistant before coming to Funtastic Futures. I love the fact that the focus is on team work too.

I am soon to be a primary teaching student, and Funtastic Futures has been the most amazing job in helping me gain skills for this. I absolutely love working at Funtastic, all the students make a different yet amazing impact on the group and every day is always so special and exciting. It has been so amazing seeing all the students progress over the past couple of years, progressing with new skills and communicating with others. All the activities are so well planned and exciting, making sure students are all learning and practicing vital skills as well as having so much fun together!

I love travel and seeing the world to have different adventures. Since arriving back in the UK I love working as part of the funtastic team as we are all like minded and passionate in wanting the best for our gang. It is like my second family. No day is ever the same with all the exciting activities that have been carefully planned. You’ll always be laughing and smiling!

Hello, I have been with Funtastic Futures for over a year now. I’ve worked in care and education for 6 years and particularly love that we all venerate everyone’s individuality at FF and celebrate our awesomeness everyday!
I’m a keen conservationist and love environmental studies, the clients enjoy learning about our planet with us, we focus many of our projects on eco-sustainability! it’s amazing being part of a truly fabulous team of staff and clients, I hope to keep helping our guys to find their awesome!

I love cooking but even more I love to teach Cooking. After spending over 30 years being around and working with Special Needs - thirteen of them in Education you would think there would be nothing new to learn. But every day something new and enlighting or just funny will happen to brighten your day and that's what makes Funtastics so great is that we put 'Fun' into everything we do.
